Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
My memories of dear Uncle John were of his lovely sense of humour. I used to love visiting you all in Hungerford Road, Bath. Uncle John would play practical jokes on my brother, Peter and myself and tell us funny stories. My particular favourite was Uncle John being 'Father Christmas' and coming from the North Pole!
When I was fifteen we visited and I looked after Roger, Ken,Nigel & Geoff, (their ages ranging from 8 to 1)while Uncle John, Auntie Ambrosine, my Mum and Dad had an evening out. So I had four children who wouldn't go to bed! Still I must have enjoyed it, as I have worked with small children ever since! I know your Dad was very proud of you all.
